Currently 49 degs with 82 % humidity, pressure is 29.97 down from 30.09 and falling. The wind is variable from the N,ne at about 5 -8 mph.
The coffee is good this morning after an agressive day of taking down lights, washing the truck, rotating the tires , and changing the water pump on my outboard..( thanks John Davis ). I will go into further detail on that later. Just gotta load the rods in the boat and eat a taco and top off with fuel. Be back later with a report......I hope. Very Happy

If ya see us out there in the Flat Bottom Girl stop by and say hello.Today my guest is John as he helped me greatly with my water pump installation. Plus he is down waiting for a new motor to be installed by the guys at B&S who do great work from what I hear.

She is just under 25 inches. She would have gone back as I normally let the big ones go. However she gobbled up my plum/chart Tidal Surge
down in her belly there was no saving this one. Question ? Is my face the same color as my shirt? It was burning. Very Happy

Good luck tomyoumand John. Strange, I'm going on a wade trip withy buddy, John, today. He wants to toss shrimp, I'm partial to throwing lures, will compare results.

I we thinking this afternoon with the light and variable winds, trying drop offs and flats. Hopefully find some afternoon trout.

Im trying to get my girls up out of bed and head to the lease. Then probably going to drive down and try PINS in the morning. They want to find some shells and I want some pomps! Very Happy

Hey IMS it was good to see you again this morning and I'm glad I got to meet John "the machinest".
Like you I finally found some nice trout, at the last place I fished. I didn't take any pic's but did end up catching dinner and releasing one that was a big fat 28 1/2". All were caught in the deep water, just slowed it down some. Cool

Next trip I'll take someone so we can get pic's, oh yea, let the big one go.

I had what is a typical fishing day for me. Skunked!! Oh well better than being at home staring aimlessly at the TV watching nothing.

It was wet rainy windy cold .....I could have done without the wind. I had to go to firefox to be able to get on the website for some reason windows keeps opening cf.com twice and it locks up. I don't have enough pc savy to figure it out, maybe it will be working tomorrow. I wonder why my screen shows snowflakes but my laptop and my wifes phone does not. sometimes I'm just lost on this stuff. here comes another pic.

Todays catch before we woosed out and went home, i didnt measure everything but I can say the tidal surge did the job and would have done better had the wind not been blowing 20mph. Very Happy

Man thats a nice trout! Bigger than any i have ever caught. Shame she didn't make it but sometimes it just happens that way.
