Is the dredge running? etc. Any other reports welcomed too. I am updating the reports pages for all the folks stuck at home doing Christmas stuff or hunting. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

It's shocking but i can contribute for a change and give a report!!!!!
I fished the north side Friday morning and caught 3 nice trout 19,20, and 22 on the surf side. Also got a really big sheepshead! The crazy thing was the monster pin fish!!! I actually looked the record up on my phone they were so big! Record is 12.99" long i believe and the ones I caught were right at 12" long.
Fiday evening and early saturday morning I tried gigging the chanell by the bridge. I had high hopes but ended up with nothing! Didn't see a fish big or small and no beds! They just wern't there when I was.
Saturday about daylight I hit the north side again but struck out. The current was very strong and waves were as well. I saw one guy catch 2 trout in the channel on plastics but that was about all I saw.
The dredge was out there but Im not sure if it was pumping or not.
Thats all I got for now but plan to be back some between Christmas and New Years! |

| Wife and I fished spj Thursday & Friday from about 4 PM to 7 PM both nights. We were the only ones on either jetty from 5-7. Thursday speckled trout and sheepshead were biting live shrimp and lures, caught about 10 trout and several sheepsheads, one pomp. Only kept 1 sheepshead and 2 trout. The wind was pretty bad Friday, made it hard to use bait so we used lures and caught several trout. Didn't keep anything Friday. |

Fished spj a little this afternoon. From about 4 to 6:30. Didn't catch anything . I didn't see anyone catch anything but hardheads and piggy perch. We used live shrimp and lures. The dredge was still running btw. |

Sounds like you are the guy that I talked to while gigging on Friday night. You have the strip style gigging light? I was the one floundering by myself along the bridge. We chatted for a few minutes before you left.
Nice chatting with you if I've got the right guy. |
