Not sure if these guys who are hating on me and my generator and multi light set up but they gave me the heads up that a 8footer is lurking the area.. Any locals care to confirm or is this a case of the locals knowing the SA guy is fishing their hole and trying to spoof me ?!?!? |

Have not fished the area in a little over a year, but in my 20+ years of fishing Baffin, I have never heard of a gator siting. Some big alligator gar will be back in the creek. |

I have spent a LoT of time in that area and know people that have fished it for years ....never a sighting but I know some people who call fowl just to mess with others and rumors spread like wildfire on baffin ....a 8 foot gar however I believe _________________

Don't know about Baffin gator, but a 3-4 foot gator was seen in Padre Isles canals. He'd come up onto someone's ramp to sun himself. |

It would not surprise me, since gators are in some of the tanks on the Kenedy and King Ranches!!!!!!! |

Howdy!
Never know. Had one in the small boat basin at Texas A&M Galveston when I went there. Also, years back my friend's grandfather killed one about that size from their stock pond in Centerfield, TX. Those things move around. |

If im not mistaken, a 4-5 ftr was found on pins close to the blacktop. It was several years ago but i think it was the gollas that found him. _________________ SOUTHERN CUSTOMS

After Hurrican Allan came through my property I found a 6 foot gator in one of the two ground water tanks on Los Olmos creek about 5 miles NNW of Falfurrias. Los Olmos creek goes into Baffin just east of Site 55 so don't say never about where gators might show up. _________________ Off Shore Port Mansfield |

I went with a friend through Morris Cummings cut almost to Estes flatts and he made a sharp turn and we got stuck on a sand bar - he is to old to push, so I did.... I saw what I though was an Alligator tail about 10 ft from me after a huge splash, the water was only knee deep,,,, we didin't wade Estes that day - I could have been mistaken, but I know there are fish in other places. _________________ Happy Hook'n

If there is ever going to be a gator in baffin it would be now...most ponds and creeks have dried on the king ranch and kenedy....
Dairy Lake on the Main King Ranch has dried up..i know for a fact that there were TONS of Gators in that Lake including some MONSTERS..where they all went....hell if i know....
just let me keep thinking there are no gators in baffin, only way i will keep fishing it _________________
