Went out this AM from topic isles to pure oil and water was nasty. Looked like a good case of brown tide. Only got 8 dink trout on soft plastics. Disappointed. Came home early. Neighbor only got 1 keeper trout in 2 hours.

I should have stayed at the dock. Got the paper at 6:15, went to the dock and got 2 keeper trout on Lil Fishies.

Waters in the Padre Island canals are cloudy tonight. I had thought I saw brown tide on top on Thursday/Friday, but water was clear then.
