My buddy, father and I drove down to pins Wednesday afternoon to find the water breathtaking. Mullet everywhere and saw 1 oversize red and a nice drum swimming the first gut as we headed down to the 23 mile marker. Give or take. Cud not get the red or drum to bite. Mad when we set up camp and began fishing with fresh mullet, blue fish after blue fish over the first bar. Ran one shark rig and ended up with a nice 5 and 1/2 ft Blacktip. Next day was a little slow with the surf getting a little choppy. Friday morning the surf was real calm like Wednesday was. All in all, we ended up with 13 real nice blue fish, 1 21 inch redfish, 27 inch Spanish Mack, 1 16 inch trout, and 30 whiting. Also caught 3 30lb jack crevalles Thursday morning. Could see them running the first bar in the waves early morning. What a fight! Was a great trip for everyone and got plenty of R&R! Thanks!

Did anyone else see that red and white plane flying Thursday afternoon really low and under the radar? Makes u wonder. Wend down close to the shoreline heading north and later flew low behind the dune going south.
