Completely different area but I had some done on my ankle. Did nothing, I ended up needing surgery. Very painful recovery but all is good now! _________________ I like fishies |

Shots work great. Had them twice. 9 first time. 6 the second. If I had listened and followed the recovery plan, I would have only had them once.
It will hurt like hell during the procedure; but you'll ask yourself why you lived with pain so long if you had known that the shots could make you pain free.[/img] |

Have done knee and shoulder... knee hurt like hell as they hit bone. Shoulder was pretty much painless and provided relief within a few days. If you don't like needles, do NOT look at what they will be sticking you with.
Cortisone is a bandaid though. It can result in tissue damage with multiple injections so be sure to talk to your doc. |

Had 2 bulging disks, went through 3 rounds of injections. Pain of injections not bad, Dr. doubled my ativan dose for procedures. No relief though. Ended up rupturing the disks 3 weeks after my last injection requiring surgical repair. Neurologist told me while I was in recovery that my body had absorbed none of the cortison which happens to 15% of patients. _________________ "I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard is not what I mean." |
