what is a good bait for kings and jacks on the surf and channel sides at the north jetties?

For kings we use ribbonfish, pony & horse mullet under a balloon. As far as jacks when they are in they will hit anything. We caught them on everything from live shrimp, mullet, or just say anything alive. Or just lures.

I would head to the end of the jetty to target those fish. Good luck. Don't forget the camera.

I saw a guy that had caught a red snapper on the channel side today, as well as a few bull reds. As usual, I got skunked.
