Just picked up a couple of Mettle reels and was wondering if anyone uses the H20 rods and if so what you think of them? I run 10# test
P-line, and pretty much topwaters.
Thanks, Jim |

Don't know much about the rods, but I like my H20 mettle. It is a solid little reel. I paired it with an ugly stick Lite rod and some Power Pro. _________________ JJ |

my son just picked up the Mettle with a H2O rods...a little heavy for me personally, but the rod seemed to do well and he liked it....lots of backbone and the tip is pretty stiff as well, we were soaking bait in the surf over the weekend and he managed a slot size drum, not a bad rig at all, but if you are throwing lures all day, the action seems to be a little "heavy"... _________________ Trophy whitetail and exotic hunts on some of the finest ranches Texas has to offer, www.mcoutfitterstexas.com
