|
|
The National Park Service is currently involved in a project with the Federal Highway Administration to repair road damage in the northern end of the National Seashore. From September 18 through September 26 work will be taking place in and around the Bird Island Basin Boat ramp that may result in short delays or detours within the boat parking area. In addition it is possible that some sections of the ramp may be closed for short periods while the repairs are completed.
Work is ongoing in other locations within the park as well. Short delays may result. Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution and be on the lookout for workers along the road shoulders. As always, traffic laws and construction warning signs will be strictly enforced.
The National Park Service would like to thank visitors for their patience and understanding as work continues to improve park facilities and provide a safer driving experience.
For additional information, please call the Malaquite Visitor Center at (361) 949-8068. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Buzz tells me most of it will be fixing holes out there with asphalt and any delays would not be more than 5 to 10 minutes. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |
