Big boat. My buddy has a 22 Transport he wants a 250 Yammy SHO. He has the 200 2stroke currently. His Bro-in-law put one on his Trans made boat. I have gone for a couple of rides. What a beast. Great fuel savings too compared to the 2 stroker. He is talking to Tommy Tran in Palacios. He is suppose to become an Authorized Yammy dealer or something on that order. My buddy wants to be one of the first to have Tommy re-rig his. If you need ballast, let me know.

Dr Kent and I own a 2002 21' Cat. Love it. Had it built and launched August 2001 and it has been a workhorse in all types of water.
Having dealt with Donny and TV before, during and after the build let me offer this. First, you are wise to see how others have rigged them, second, do not let Tran rig it for you. We had very specific ways we wanted to rig the boat. After having taken notes for years on exactly how we wanted things laid out it was important. With Tran it's his way or the highway. What I have seen from others with Trans is that even if he agrees to rig it the way you want, it still gets done his way. If you will send me a PM I will get you some pics.
We have a 150 Yamaha TRP on it, can't get a new one anymore. Pushes about 40mph with 1/2 tank gas and 2 people on board and runs in about 7" of water but handles the rough stuff well. That works really well since we spend most of our grown up fishing trips in Mansfield, but fish with the wives and kids in Rockport.
GPS, depth is flush mounted in the dash above the wheel, compass on the flat deck of the console. Stereo and marine radio are left of wheel mounted in the dash. Talon on the starboard side is new and works great.
You will be very happy with your cat but make sure you rig it the way you want it rigged, not the way TV or Donny want it rigged.
Did you get an elevated center console?
Hope I can help with some pics and anything else _________________ A flute without holes, is not a flute. A donut without a hole, is a Danish. |

| I would recommend I pilot trolling motor which allows you to save on not getting power pole with the anchor feature. |
