i miss He who shall not be mentioned. his reports on bob hall were usually the only reports. not many people report on what is being caught there and after the way he got ripped on here i dont think he will come back. i always think that most of the bs i see online is just that but i dont comment on things that happen to people cause you never know what goes on in anyones house. we are all different people than what we are at home after the door closes. so now i hope more will try to post once in a while about bob hall. when you get old its hard to fish the way you used to so now a pier is the only option. also when you are on a fixed income you dont want to waste gas you have to pick a time to fish when weather is nice. his reports and pics gave some of us a chance to see the conditions so we could plan a trip down for a couple of days. its hell getting old and its not the golden yrs as we have been led to believe . ok now i am off of my soapbox. sorry to upset anyone

I think he left extremecoast and a few others also. I think he still posts on either 2coolfishing.com or texaskayakfisherman if you still wanna read his stuff.

thanks i havent been to some of those sites in awhile. i really like tugboat trash's posts also. its hard to get out fishing now that i am older and have more health issues than i expected. at least i can still dream of going fishing even if i cant go as much as i used to

What I don't get is how he got kicked off after a week of drama(and he didn't even start the dang thing) even though he spent a lot of time and effort over the months before posting good information and reports? How anyone can say he was too much bs and not enough useful information is beyond me. I appreciate all the reports and info given by all members here, but He who shall not be mentioned posted the bulk of the useful reports consistently over the past six months!

All the locals who are on this board post reports in their own way, 99% are truthful and come without drama and are useful to those who fish on a consistant basis. We are all dedicated to the the sport of fishing and are all willing to lend a hand when it comes to offering information in any way shape or form. My experience is something I can choose to take to the grave but instead I have taught the art to many who knew only how to use a big chunk of bait and the biggest rod they could find in hopes of catching quality game fish and then wonder why they don't. I just get a kick watching someone catch a 9 lb red or a big trout for the first time on an artifical. I don't try to one up on folks and make it look like i'm a God to fishing because none of us are. I do admit to joking around even though some don't like it but then they are out numbered by those who do have a humorous side because they read a copy of the Farside maybe more than one. I don't write a full report everytime I fish because I would be on the p/c all the time . However I'm here if someone needs a hand, and it doesn't make a difference where you're from. IMS
