Wow, that's alot of stolen equipment, $65,000! From H.E.B. and Walmart too. I've bought bait there in the past when I fish the Copano Bay Bridge.

It's $6,500 not $65,000. Lots of details missing in the story. Did all the merchandise come from the three buys from the undercover police or was that just a portion of what they had on hand. Also does not say how cheap it was sold for or whether she was told it was stolen. Either way, she should have known something was fishey with these guys and is going to have to sell alot of shrimp to get out of this mess. I hope during the arrest they didn't have to croaker!

Sorry but I can just see them scrambling everywhere when the raid happened. Shrimp boat doors slamming hatches closing. Mass evacuation on the docks surrounding the baitstand.Kinda like a villiage being raided back in the day. Shocked
