looking to buy a shotgun i could use for both dove and duck. bought a mossberg maverick 88 at academy last year and it was cheap....reliable for dove but after two or three duck hunts it gummed up even with regular cleaning. just curious if anyone here has a decent gun for sale. thanks _________________ "When times are tough,

If that is the Model 88 pump, take it all the way down and clean it with gun scrubber or something equivalent(carb cleaner, brake cleaner) and pay close attention to get all the existing grease and unburned powder off all the gun parts. Wipe the slide clean and do it again. reassemble and use Rem-lube only on all moving parts. This should the trick. WD40 is good, but will gum a gun up quik, if you do not clean the excess off. Good luck! _________________ Wishin I was fishin!
