Me, my father, and a few freinds get together every year and spend a few days down in Port Mansfield off shore fishing in the PMFT. This year was a blast as normal. One of the guys in our group took 1st place Red Snapper, and another guy took 2nd place. We only got to fish offshore saturday because thursday and friday were a little rough for our boats. We all run bay boats. But thursday and friday we sure did fill the icechest with some very quality trout. Great weekend. Here are a few pics.

Stopped in Raymondville to fuel up one last time before it got REAL expensive for fuel.

This is the view from my buddies back patio we got to enjoy every night while BBQing dinner.

Saturdays haul, didnt take any pics with the mess of fat trout unfortunately.

O and my new lure I picked up, cant wait to catch a big ole trout on this bad boy Laughing

x2, but Miller Lite lure would catch more fish.

That's also a nice setup you have there ThirdCoastStroker.

See any of those big pigs along with those deer. Everytime I'm in Mansfield we spend at least one night driving around the neighborhoods to the different feeders around midnight. When your headlights illuminate a 400lb+ animal , it's pretty cool. IMHO.

Pulled into town a couple of weeks ago and a whole group of turkeys was standing in the parking lot of the bbq joint. Next morning we went north along the west shore and just after sun up near the big oak mott we saw a bug bull nilgai running 3 cows. Pulled into shore for a wade and he just followed us along for about an hour. They probably were less than 400yds from shore and never paid us any attention.

Its wildlife safari land down there
