hey everyone i had a few questions I'm stuck on which braid to use for my three 9/0 and one 12/0. I've heard about the POWER PRO and also about FINS i don't know which one to go with and also what color to go with i keep hearing to go with the HI-VIS YELLOW.
and also another question how much braid and mono should i put??? is it better to have more braid in the water or more mono in the water??
i appreciate all the help i can get thanks.

| I have used both and really have no preference for shark rods. Both work great. I tend to stay away from the hi vis stuff in the surf. Smacks sure like to hit knots and you tend to loose leaders. If you do use hi vis use a float on your leader... |

PP green or yellow,15# is mine. I fish inshore for trout & reds.
50yd of mono on first then PP from there. PP is all that will ever be in the water,(unless you get spooled) |

| I have all my shark rigs setup with braid and anywhere between100 to 200 yards of mono on top. The braided line doesn't handle being drug across the sandbars very well. |

| Put braided on my Diawa Sealine 400 and I can't cash worth a crap with it. This is my first time using a bait caster though. Ended up with a nest on half my casts. Is mono much better or do I need to work on my technique? |

on my 12/0 i have 1600 yards (100lbs) of power pro top with 500 yards (100lbs) of big game
the sand bars is why you want mono.... tears up braided line |

fins windtamer hands down. the best braid out there. it comes in yellow, pink, and i believe green. less wind knots that power pro and if u do get one, the wind tamer is easier to get the knot out. _________________ just sayin |

| Must say the suffix performance braid and the 832 are my go to braids far more abrasion resistant than the power pro and more supple in my experience |
