Where the hardheads are edition. Started at port a jetties about 10am. Lots of people in port a and on the jetties. Saw people using croaker and everything else. No on catching anything. Water was nice but still slightly murky. After an hour and a half and losing several rigs to the rock gods, my wife gave me the look and we were off to the surf.
Cruised down the beach about five miles from port a. Beach was packed out down there. Found a spot and soaked mostly fishbites and cut whiting. Caught lots of whiting and tons of hardheads. Brought in one whiting that I had left on a while and something with some teeth took a little chunk out of his back.
Water wasn't as chocolately as last week and weed was very thin. Seems that water is clearing up a good bit and shouldn't be long before weed is gone and green water is back. Did see lots of bikinis on the beach, most occupied by the indigenous species that don't care that some rides do indeed have weight limits. _________________ Fortune favors the brave... |
