Hola Todos,

Our AKC German Short Haired Pointer, Remi is having a litter with AKC GSP, Sooner next week with puppies ready by early August. Both dogs are great on quail, and Remi has been an excellent waterfowl and dove retriever.

These pups will go for $600 and are going to be highly skilled hunting dogs. If interested, please contact me. Pup Pics

Remi is a black and white GSP

Sooner is a liver, roan GSP

That brings back memories of quail hunting with my dad as a kid with our dog. Would love one but too small of a yard for dog.

Unfortunately the quail population is decimated and there are no quail left to hunt unless you want to shoot pen raised birds.

You would think that TPWD would acknowledge this problem and reduce the bag limits on quail, or close the season all together. If the drought continues, quail will be like the prarie chickens.

The puppies arrived on Father's Day and it looks like 4 are black and white and 3 are liver and white. There may be another pup as she was not finished last night. Very Happy

These GSP's are versatile gun dogs, not just for quail. These pups will be natural retrievers for both waterfowl and upland. Remi has bagged many limits of dove that we would never have found and she does not bring them back pre-marinated like many of the lab retrievers that I have hunted with.
