OK, this is getting rediculous. Fished the crash channels, ICW, Deadmans,Pita and the boathole today. Only managed to boat 1 undersized Trout. Using live Croaker we turned lose 4 live ones (out of a dozen) after we gave up. 5 hours of fishing I have never seen this before. What the heck is going on?...Adios

Yeah, we dumped some croaker back as well. Caught two rat reds on peeled shrimp. This **** just sickens me to see the water this bad. Our Laguna is ill and not getting any better. I don't know what it will take to turn it around. _________________ "Charlie Don't Surf" |

Don't give up on it Skipper, the BT we are having makes for alot different
patterns and styles. Sometimes fishing with live bait doesn't always work.
Maybe you need to change water depth, the distance your fishing from channels etc.

| Ya this stuff does suck. Ive been venturing north and south. South has been on fire with lots of sows. Last saturday we caught 15 trout and 2 reds north of the bridge on our first wade. When the bite died we could not even lose a croaker at any other spots. Never happened to me before....not even a hardhead |

Keep the faith Skipper. I almost exclusively wade fish and got a workout yesterday.
I fish Fishpass quite a bit and it was slow yesterday. One thing about Fishpass is: the fish will be there, you just have to find them. After a long wade, I managed 5 trout and a nice redfish, but I had to fish 4 distinctly different areas.
Weird that you through croaker back... _________________ 1.2.3,4,5. once i caught a fish alive.

You guys have scared me away from the ULM with all your reports so last Friday my buddies and I made a quick trip down and fished aransas pass. Wind was howling so we stuck to the flats and did not try to get out in front of dagger or traylor anywhere like that to catch trout.
first pothole we worked no luck, second pothole and it was on! We hammered the redfish! back at the ramp by 10:30 with limits and back in SA in time to grill them for dinner Friday night!
Made for a nice quick trip!
I am hoping the brown stuff goes away soon as I miss fishing the ULM! |

I am thinking about loading the boat on the trailer and going to Aransas Pass or something on my next trip. For the past few trips, fishing has sucked for me as well. |

Actually I'm kinda glad to hear that. This weekend is our 34th anniversary and there is going to be a fullish moon. On top of that I have to work overtime Saturday so all in all I won't mind not fishing this weekend. I really would have like to read that skipper filled his box to the top. Nevertheless I will be drydocked spending time with my bride. Hopefully the fishing will change in the near future and I too will be posting some full box reports which I'm sure Tyler would rather see out of me and everyone else. Listen to Captain Mike as he does give out some free tips and good advise. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

| I started fishing the Aransas area, and I loved it. We found them on Sunday, and the area was pretty easy to fish. I am staying there until it clears up here. I know I should try to adjust here but I do not have a lot of time to fish so I have to take advantage of whatever is available. |
