Haven't been on much lately so I didn't search for the topic.
I was out at the base today and have to say they are doing a great job on the new marina. The 72 slips look ready, 24 have lifts. They are working hard on the ramp pouring concrete, it looks like they may finish up by mid June.
I didn't stop in or speak to anyone about the timeline, so don't hold me to it. |

| Details? Are these for military personnel only? For rent to the public? What about the ramp? Open to the public? I wouldn't think so since it's on NAS property...just checking. |

Its a Morale Welfare & Recreation facillity.
I have seen on some bases where they had facillities privatized (open to the public) for profit. Mostly golf courses. I dont know the status of the new marina & boat ramp but I will inquire next time I get over there.
I believe its currently millitary ID holders and their dependents only. |

I think you can get access to the base and those facilities by joining the Navy League. _________________ Please let us remember the difference between genius and stupidity... genius has its limits.
