I would look for flooded shoreline while water is up...find bait in there..start casting around.... _________________

| I'll tell ya one thing. When it rains like it did yesterday - fast and hard- a ton of that dirty, nasty, nutrient-rich flood water from the streets and drainage ditches, etc dumps into the laguna before is absorbed into the ground. I won't make any predictions, but one way I think of it as fertilizer for algae. I'm sure its much more complex then that, but in general algae blooms and strong rains usually go hand in hand. |

Kind of what I was fearing, but was also wondering if the fresh water flush could possibly be a good thing. |

| Don't take my word as gospel - I am no algae expert at all. Im just pointing out a general trend between algal blooms and rains, and it may not be the case with this bloom. For all I know may not be nutrient limited, i.e. there may already have been plenty of fuel for the fire, so to speak, and it may be more closely linked to other factors. |
