| Sorry, guys, about my thread about Rudy's no longer having ethanol free gas. They do not sell ethanol free gas in the two upper grades, but now I remember only seeing the new stickers warning about not being ethanol free on the two upper grade buttons. I am honestly not sure about reguler grade. My apologies for the error! |

Don't worry. If they wanted to rub you out, it would have to be a dry rub.
But then again, they could just smoke you. |

Thats ok I don't mind saying that I think their side dishes suck. Their bbq is good, not the best. Their sales would double if they made had my wife's potato salad and her slaw, and the oyster shucker from hell " paul" his bean recipies. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED.

You know how when you make a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy .... the quality fades? That's Rudy's. The original off I-10 and Boerne Stage Rd. in San Antonio is 10X better than the franchises ..... unfortunately even it has slipped during the years of super growth. |

Buy BBQ from a restaurant?
Never, good sirs!
If I don't have seven hours to smoke my own ribs, then I don't have time to eat barbecue at all. _________________ Stupid things seem a lot smarter while you're doing them. |

| The Rudy's in Austin/Round Rock are good. The last time I ate at the SPID Rudy's was really bad. The ribs seems boiled, with no rub at all. I'm not giving up on it just yet. |

As of (I think March 1) Rudy's will no longer carry non-ethanol in the mid and upper grades. They will continue to carry non-ethanol in the regular grade only. This is what I saw at the SPID Rudy's about a week ago... |
