| Anybody ever eaten eggs from fish that you caught? I have heard that they are good fried and the sheepies have a lot in them right now. If you have how were they and how did you prepare them? |

My Father-in-law is Russian, so Nikolai eats almost any part of the fish. He'll fry them in butter until firm or pickle them in brine and eat with hard bread.
Not my taste, though! |

Never tried the fresh stuff, cooked or otherwise, but I did take a crack at some cheap caviar once. Not my thing. _________________

I love catfish and eggs, however the eggs are chicken eggs. As for fish roe wash them off off and throw them in the fryer just like they are or drege them in some egg wash and corn "flour". The old commercial fishermen would just throw them in the fryer. I never ate any. They say they are good. I guess if they weren't they would not eat them. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

| I've never eaten any but when I was younger my grandfather would eat trout eggs. Cornmeal and fry just like the fillets. |

We used to do the same with smaller channel cat eggs. Not something to make a meal out of, but a tasty side dish. |

I eat fish eggs, they are good. Maybe the thought of what they are is what really deters someone from liking them. I do them just like I do a fish filet, cornmeal with a little flour and spices and fry em up. I eat fresh water eggs but not catfish. Striper ,hybrid and white bass are all good. I also eat saltwater fish eggs if I find them when I clean them.
