Hello,

I've been following the forums for awhile and thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Rob Hart and I am the new Marine Program Leader at the National Weather Service office in Corpus Christi.

I frequent these forums to get local marine reports and information for the area to use at the office.

I know a lot of mariners and fisherman use our data and forecasts and if anyone ever has any questions, comments, complaints, ideas, etc relating to the National Weather Service marine information and forecasts, please don't hesitate to contact me at robert.hart@noaa.gov

Great site by the way! The recent red tide reports have been extremely helpful.

I personally rely heavily on the National Weather Service office here in CC, and "you are welcome" about the red tide reports. Only wish I had less to contribute this year in terms of the "nasty organism that shall not be named". Laughing

Welcome, grab your camera and add to the pictures when you have a great fishing day. About 5 years ago I totally quit listening to most of the forecast on television. They tend to exaggerate to get you to check back. Funny all forecast start with the raw data gathered by the National Weather Service. I have found a lot of the aviation sites have fairly accurate forecast. Look forward to reading your post.

Thank you and welcome aboard. Use NOAA all the time. Thanks for being there, much more reliable then the meatheads on TV.
