Met up w/ M.T. Stringer (TKF) we set a Stripes Cup Challenge of most fish on stringer, trout had to 18" +, slot reds and a trout over 30" trumps all.

Worked a deeper set of clear water flats sand & grass pockets - nada

Moved to a marsh w/ murkier waters and that was the ticket. M.T. gets first fish of day nice slot red.

Got out of yak and started wading around trying to be real quite not much wind.
Got one on the Badonk-A-Donk 22" range
Then another with in about 20yrds 22" range same lure.

lure:

I have noticed at this one spot, I never ever catch them back to back in same spot, always move 20 yards or so and get another.

Move on down, and miss a big blow, then another. Switch to a spoon and couldn't find them again. Also the wind had totally stopped at that point.

Somewhere in the mayhem, I was doing the stingray shuffle, but slid my foot on to what I thought was solid ground but I was wrong..........

Sorry only pic of day, had to split early due to a sick kid at school

Oh and M.T. owes me another Coke!!!!

i normally fish out of my trident 15, that native is an ultimate 16 tandem, it's a bit of a beast solo, real easy to stand and paddle, turning is a monster task!
that was the only decent pic i had of lure,
