Got a buddy who recently purchased a pair of Yamaha PWC and he is not the avid fishermen as I am. I have convinced him that once he allows me to get ahold of them and add a basket onto the back for a cooler and a couple of pole holders all that will change. I have read up online about how people rig their PWC for close offshore rig fishing but am curious if any of our local fishermen have set-ups on their PWC's. To my suprise they both contain a 13 gallon fuel tank and cannot do the math on how gallons=hours/distance. Any help and pics would greatly be appreicated. A local fabricator who can come up with a concept would also help but money isn't right so I am lookin for a safe, efficient and extremely cost friendly procedure. If any members have detailed pictures of their rides I would greatly appreicate the knowledge.
His models are:
2001 Yamaha XLT 1200 3 seater
2001 Yamaha GP 1200 2 seater

Also found this set-up but looks a little beyond my abilities.....then again you never know!

Not quite ready for the GPS/fish finder but always a future option plus the price of aluminum is nuggin futs!
All the best

Go look on 2coolfishing.com for jetskibrians posts. He's the king when it comes to offshore jet ski fishing... I believe he just had a new PWC rigged out for fishing... Jason Slocum

Try Blue Streak Fabrication. They do some really nice aluminum work.
