On my way home from doing a number of chores in town I drove SBH. Go figure. Guess my truck has a mind of its own. Anyway, with the onshore winds today surf was a little rougher than the past 2 days. Water was somewhat stained but not too bad. On my 3mi. walk I talked to several fisherpersons. Lots of whiting, quite a few pomps and a fair number of slot drum being caught. Most were using ghost shrimp. Yup, winter Texans. Might have to hit the sand Wed or Thur. According to weather reports it should be good surf weather. BUT WEATHERMEN HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO BE WRONG!

I went out mid morning and found there to be a lot of grass in the water....Dont know if I just hit a bad spot, or if it was widespread. Anyway, had to get back for my househod duties and the kids when they got back. (Was off today). Would have loved to have time to go down the beach all day agian. The north must really suck because there were a lot of out of state tags out that way. LOL.

Pablo,
I think I seen you with your new fishing platform south of BH this morning. Very nice rig! We also had issues with the grass, but did catch some nice Whiting.
