I was there last weekend. Didn't fish it but I checked it out. It's very user friendly. Built like packery without the white top. Rocks placed very flat. Looks like a good area to catch some out going flounder. We camped at 3 mile cut. An area down the beach where you can drive over to east bay. Good area back there but the front came in screaming and broke a pole on our tent about 4 PM Sat so we loaded up and went to Palacios to crab and buy shrimp off the boats. You can get some cheap shrimp from those shrimpers. We bought some of the biggest shrimp I ever saw for $5 per lb.

| Thanks. We're headed down tonight. It is nice and flat. They were still dredging the pass when I was there. I fished the surf and the pass at the other end of Matagorda with no luck so I drove to Padre and did well at Mansfield pass. L |
