went for a ride with bride. drove thru Alice, Falfurris, & Riveria. nothing open or very interesting. finally found a family type restaurant in riveria on the baffin waterfront called"Baffin Bay Cafe". went in, menu looks good, ordered gumbo & told it is sold out, ordered clam chowder and after waiting 40 minutes, left. we were told TWICE it's on it's way. drove back to corpus and ate at an old standby Mexican place just west of SPID on leopard. great food & service saved the day.

Went there ONCE. My daughter ordered a corn dog since she wasnt real hungry. We sent it back three times because the breading around the dog was still runny on the inside. Finally just gave up. Damn if you cant get a corn dog right......

Get the cornmeal fried drum sandwich at Baffin Bay Cafe. It's excellent. Havn't been there in 6 months but never had a bad experience there.

Went to King's Inn a couple weeks ago. Fish and Oysters were good but $40.00 for 2 people to eat lunch is a little high in my opinion.
