First in the water at 6:30am, but not by much. Not many people ot there till a little later. Threw live and dead until 9:30, landing only 3 skippies, a hardhead, and a couple big pinnies. All are lucky they weren't cut on and used for bait. Did have a couple nice bites who spit the hook out about 10 feet from me. Water did not appear to be as clear as it was a few weeks ago.

I debated whether or not to mention this for fear it would cause a stampede there or y'all might think I'm crazy, but we saw what had to have been around a 36 inch red or drum about 20 feet in front of us. It was kinda cruisin the area and we saw it several times. We threw shrimp at it and I also tried a redfish magic, both with no luck. We also saw a school of about 8 or so red or drum. Could not get them to bite when we saw them. Hope to try again before having to go back to work on Tuesday.

I was out there wedsday and my brother saw a school of drum close to where he was at, He tried casting at them with cut bait with no luck.
No peeled shrimp in his arsenal. Cool
