38 inches breaks the state record. That fish should be mounted. You could be famous! Current record is 37 1/4. I'm guessing you meant 28.

yes 28 3/4....sheesh 38 inch trout Laughing ... Dinosaur

yes, I just wanted to know yalls pref...we are all different but, my friends are poking at me,,I would mount that .... sheesh, I told them 30 is my deal (prob never get it)

Like Deer - nothing under 36 INCH SPREAD, no matter what the B/C score

Bass +10 ( I caught a bass in the Nueces river aabout 5 yrs ago that was HUGE,,in rivers they are long fish, not like lakes) she was about+27 inches and @ 8 lbs, I released her too

Are they giving you a hard time b/c you ate it instead of mounting it? Or b/c you released the fish?

the way to shut up all the protesters, suggest they PAY for the mount as a tribute to your superior ability.

If I caught a fat 28 on artie I'd mount it. but yeah, for most people the "trophy mark" is 30.

just because your croaker dies on the hook doesn't make it an "artificial"

yes, I think trophy is a 30 incher...... I was going to release it but we were in a damn tournament (which I lost by a TENTH of a pound)

Hey, dumb luck,, I kept slinging my craoker off then I'd drowned the next (New rod/ reel) so they sent me to the flats w a spoon to get some Reds for our srtinger,,, in 8 inches of water she hit... WOW[img][/img]

I would have mounted it just so I could use it to shame the folks that sent me to go catch slot reds.

Yep, that's how to take that picture.
None of that holding those arms straight out and rubbing the camera lens.
And unless you are 4ft tall, that's one long fish.

Yeah, because you'll be using the dual live wells in that new fancy boat for...storage.

EXACTLY! That always pisses me off when people do that...I always hold my fish close to my body so you have something to reference
