Mary and I planned to go to nighthawk this AM but had to wait for cable guy. You know how that goes. Didn't get on the water until about noon. Winds were howling pretty good by then. Stopped at my 2 min. honey hole and picked up 2 keeper reds, an 18 incher and 2 keeper trout.

Here's the first red. 26.5".

Made another short drift and only 2 dink trout. With mind set on nighthawk we started heading that way. After 5 kidney jarring minutes across the flats decided nighthawk could wait for another day. Made a short drift and only dink trout again. Stopped and drifted the honey hole on the way home and 2 more reds.

The cable guy might have saved you a very rough trip home today by burning up your morning. Anyway, very nice report. I think the high winds are gone for a few days after tomorrow.
