Assuming the govnt doesnt shut down.... I was planning a trip for this weekend. Does anyone know how bad driving on PINS is right now? any hope for my poor old 2wheel drive???

I was there on Saturday at the entrance of PINS and it looked traversable in 2wd, however the ranger station had a sign up that said 4x4 only so there may have been some soft stuff a tad further down. I only drove maybe 100 yards and turned around because we were headed to Bird Island Basin.
One sidenote: The wind was INSANE. We set up a quick shade in the 40+ mph winds because we were crazy and could, but we had to tie it down like crazy. |

I made it to the 10 and back in 2 wheel drive last Friday
