tTaking the family to rockport Thursday and Friday. Going to put in at goose island. I have map can someone recommend a few spots. First time taken my boat in those waters. We would love to take a few reds or drum or even a few spec's home for the fryer would be nice. Thanks friends, see you on the water, be safe and have fun . Wink

St. Charles reefs, the rigs in Aransas bay if its not to rough, reefs and spoils along the ICW, work the sloughs drop offs along the the Aransas Wildlife Refuge if it's windy and around Mud Island.

First: What kind of boat? How shallow will it go?

Running a 22 ft blazer bay, no tunnel but I do have a jack plate. I feel comfortable at about two foot. Thanks so much for the info guys.

2' puts you on the back side of St Joe and Mesquite Bay. You can also run under the causeway to fish the leeward shorelines in Copano. Like texmike said, lots of areas to choose from.
