The bakery in the basement in Wells Fargo Tower 2 uptown. Stingers coffee sells these as well. _________________

Czech-Mex' kolaches aren't too bad. 711 N Carancahua St # 150, Corpus Christi, TX 78401-0520.
I haven't found any place here in Corpus that I would consider great at the kolache gig. Corpus definitely has breakfast tacos figured out though. |

Went with the backery on staples and ordered some croissants with sausage/cheese and some with ham/cheese. They were good no doubt, no one complained about them, but not what I was looking for. The croissant was at least 7" long and 4" wide but they only had a 3" piece of sausage in it the size of your pinky. I didn't try the ham/cheese croissants but they looked like they were a little more rewarding!
Does anybody in town make a man kolache like the ones at Praeseks? A pig piece of good smoked sausage that barely fits inside the bread! |

It's been a while since I last tried it, but Halepaskas Bakery in Victoria had the best kolaches I've ever eaten. I think they have two locations there now. _________________ E Pluribus Unum |

Definitely want to consider S&J's in that case. Their Ham&Cheese and their Pan Sausage are AWESOME!!! Only open in the morning on weekdays though. Closed on the weekend. |
