My dove lease was flooded out by Oso creek but now a few of us are getting our limits but we have to shoot the dove and time it to land on the road.

Way better than our hunting out in Mathis and Edroy. Birds still haven't showed back up. That's some prime area where your at, catching all those city birds. Hopefully this cool front will get 'em goin.

Got my limit in 1 hour and a half with a 20 minute walk. 2 Mourning and 13 white wings. If I was a better shot it would of been quicker.

also hunting a lease on the OSO creek, shot 14 birds on Sunday morning. Fields are soaked and makes walking a chore, but my Labrador takes lots of the work out of it, once I get to my shooting spot.

The fields around our Mathis lease are way too muddy to travel on so we shot around the the border areas but the grass is way too high to find the birds once you shoot them. I can relate to timing shots so they will hit the road.

I got another limit this afternoon. 7 Whitewing and Mourning. I drove out in my 2 wheel drive so the fields are starting to dry up just in time for bowseason. Hey Stump- there are only a a couple of leases on Oso, where are you?
