I am not a really experienced fisherman and I have a question on how the fishing will be affected by the influx of so much fresh water. For reference, I fish out of a kayak, mostly in the back of Baffin near Riviera.
I've seen a few posts about fishing deep and that the fish will be scattered. Is deep relative to the normal 1-2 foot depths I'm normally fishing in? I assume away from any creeks that drain into the bay. Should I be looking for cuts, holes, etc. that are deeper and may not have mixed with the freshwater as much? Do redfish like the freshwater, or do they just tolerate it?
I plan on getting out on the water, weather permitting, on Saturday, as there is no teacher like experience. However, it sure is nice to pick the brains of people who have already been through the same situation. Thanks! |

| Well I can tell you that trout don't like it and will move to the salinty levels they need. Best place I would think very deep water that has not been affected by the fresh water. |
