and unfortunately no fish either. went on the backside of the island on sunday. got out there about 1:00pm, and the water was already dropping off the flats. only saw one red that was a keeper, took shots at at least a dozen smaller rat reds, no takers. couldn't even get a skipjack to hit, everything was very spooky due to the low water. tried the clouser instead of the dupree this time.
at least I managed to not have to work on a sunday AND use the buggy-whip, so I'll call it a success. We may get some higher tides this weekend, but unfortunately its going to be coupled with high winds.
