Good customer of mine was talking to me about fishing and we are talking about how he goes down to CC quite often to hit up the bays. I mentioned to him I had a reel I needed a rod for and he said he had a couple that I could have and he would bring them to me.

He shows up today with 2 G loomis rods, 1 loaded with a Shimano Stella 2500 that looks hardly used. I, of course, didnt realize what he was giving me until I looked them up online (only to learn a little about them). I nearly lost my lunch when I realized he gave me nearly a grand in fishing poles.....

Yea, I called him back a few hours later and made sure he knew what he gave me. He said "Dude, who do you think bought them?".

So, I was scared to even clean the thing, but I got it looking new and went and bought the most expensive line I could find for it and got it ready to go. Cant keep it in the garage with the rest of my stuff though, its right here in the living room, hehe....
