Well fellas Ive been out of town for the past week in jamaica (best vacation ever), and the previous couple weekends ive been busy.....

So hows the fishing going?

Nighthawk holding any fish?

Its been hot as a son of a gun, fish heading to the deep ends?

Whats been working? Still have croaker? or is it piggy perch time?

Any info would be great and hopefully I can get away this weekend and if not the next weekend is already booked in my schedule.

trout bite has been decent just before sun-up till about 8:30 (though the full moon has slowed the morning bite this week). I have seen a bunch of solo tailing reds in nighthawk over the past 2 weeks, again right at sunrise, but I haven't seen any big schools back there. Lots of finger mullet and small crabs everywhere. Looks like its about to get real good.

Saturday we had pretty good luck. Not a lot of fish but good quality. My son caught a trout a little over 6 lbs. and we entered it into the STAR. We caught some large slot reds and 3 flounder all on tops except the flounder.
