We saw lots of nice potholes in the Emmord's area Sunday. Couldn't stay long because there was no wind so we couldn't drift and it was hot!!!! I will never complain about the wind again.

We couldn't see lots of the potholes until we were almost right on top of them.

How close can you get to a pothole with a trolling motor without spooking the fish?

Or should you drift up on them?

Would a GPS work?

Has anyone ever used marker bouys?

Snake...wading is the game I play with potholes. Now that I have a kayak, I can start worrying about some of the things you describe. Very Happy

Good sunglasses help with out a doubt, I wade fish the potholes for best luck, but in the boat (fishing w/people that dont wade) I drift up to some good ones and then anchor up sit for a little while and drift to the next. Sun has to be out to see the best.

I dont know the answer to the trolling motor question because I dont have one
