Ran down SBHP today to test out a new rod I bought last winter and test the jigmaster after its rebuild.

Sand is super soft right off the pavement so had to use 4wd to get thru. On down its not to bad on low road (2wd) BUT its a bumpy supple bum ride & slow so ran the high road by dunes but its all 4wd in there.

Went to the N.sticks to see if anyone was catching anything & didnt see but one small dink brought in, and some grass to. drove back up a couple miles & stopped to test out equip. Water was nice and green with some weed coming in but not massive. Fishable if you get past the 1st bar. Each cast would bring in a small ball of weed on it (but I wasnt letting my line stay out, reel in quick)

The Sealine, awesome reel.

Rabbit practicing a backhanded pendelum cast.

Shot of the surf.

Only stayed out there about and hr then came back. just mainly wanted to test out some equip which all worked great. It was nice to hear the waves & being out there again.
