Took the boys out in ULM. Wednesday we tried Pita south to Emmond's hole got a few dink trout to throw back and one keeper. Today, went all the way down to King Ranch shoreline where we got into a huge school of large ladyfish which thrilled the boys for about 45 minutes....their first time with topwater lures, and now they are hooked on lure fishing. Then, we got into some trout; no real keepers, but again lots of topwater action. Bite seemed to quit about 12:30....and then it got really hot with very little wind, so we called it a day.

I hunted for fish from Packery Park flats to Corpus Christi Bay to The Boat Hole to Humble Channel to Pita Island and a bit south.
6 hours fishing with Shrimp tails, top water, and live shrimp.
Beautiful water south of Pita ... but no fish.

Someone has stolen all the fish!
