Howdy All -
Has anybody installed a nose cone themselves? I am too cheap to send the lower unit to Bob. So, I plan on doing it myself or having someone in the local area do it. While reviewing the instructions, it looks like it calls for some aluminum welding. That is not my specialty. I can handle the prep, epoxy, sanding and paint. The welding is the problem.
Any words of wisdom or suggestions on a local person or shop in San Antonio would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and have a great, safe day,
