I'm taking a friend fishing later this week he's a fire fighter here in CC and would like to put him on some fish. But i don't know a lot about this bay fishing stuff just getting in to it. I'm running a 18' RED FISH and have been going to bird island and fishing around there. But have not got a lot to show for it. Where would you be going??????????? Any help would be great THANKS.

Dude, there are fish in all of those spots right now. Just concentrate on the structure. If the water is clear, throw a clear bait and if the water is dirty throw a dark bait. Just remember make sure the tide is moving. Keep an eye out for slicks, they will lead the way.

Jeff, If you don,t want to head to far south Pita Island and the KRS have been having some fish, If you don,t mind heading south try the Tide gauge or East Kleberg. We have been doing very well down south.

We did not have any luck at the BH this week but on the same note our luck has always been from 6pm-11pm out there.

Next week we are trying the 2:30am to sunrise action Shocked

Good Luck Wink

If you can get a spot on the grass line between Pita and Pure Oil with some croakers you should catch a few.
