I was going to fish the port a north jettis later this week and was wondering if anyone had been fishing there lately?

Last time I fished there was in January for sheepshead.

Don't know but hope to find out.
I'll do the afternoon shift tomorrow and the morning shift on Thursday.
Kind of like a two day mini vacation and run back home tired but better.
Yeehaw!

FYI, My folks are down there. Just got the 411, surf is like chocolate milk as of today-BAD, surfs UP and there is a crap load of seaweed in the surf. Said it's worse than it has been the last few weeks. Definately not prime conditions. It had been super nice the past few weeks. Hopefully it will clear sooner than later. Only takes a day for the conditions to change

My dad and brother fished the surf side there last week. There was plenty of sharks, but no trout or reds caught. They landed about a dozen pups and lost two or three in the 4'-5' range. They were only using their trout rods and a small boat rod. Skipjack was the bait of choice as it would get hit within the first few minutes of being out each time. I'm sure they could of done better if they had my surf rods, but they aren't much for that type of fishing.
