Took the boat out to test it after having it worked on. Still not up to par. But I did get to fish. 2 drift anchors out and still flying across the water.
Drifted the flats by Pita and water was very stained. Threw lots of different lures and when I switched to a bone topdog I caught a couple dink trout, a 16" trout, a 27" red (both pictured) and a 32" red that came out of the water to hit my lure. That alone was worth the trip. Adrenalin pumping sight.

| Got another couple today and they wouldn't hit anything but gold spoons. Measured 24 & 27. Nice deep copper color do to the stained water color. |

nice zia, keep killing em while I keep using the wind as an excuse not to get a line wet! good reports as always, thanks for sharing. tomorrow I will be out there, no excuses. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |
