Well fisherpeople-this time next week we should have anglers bringing in some nice fish. I had the opportunity to fish pins a few times this week and let me tell you-IT IS ON!!!!!!! This is probably going to be our best year yet as far as weather, fishing conditions, etc.... We have already eclipsed last years prizes and the cash amounts are going to be SWEET. If the turnout this year is what we expect then I think the lucky guy/gal that takes first in the shark,red, and trout divisions are going to be smiling all the way to the bank. There should be an estimated $15,000.00 worth of prize money up for grabs and an addional $10,000.00 worth of merchandise to be won. Of course not one individual is going to take this amount home this year but in the future years we hope to grow the first place pots to equal these amounts and compete with some of the bigger name, for profit, tournaments. Already in our third year we have accomplished better pots and payouts than what SURFCATS has done for there 20 plus years of existence. Our tournament is setting the bar for future tournaments and we are proud that all of you have given us the opportunity to host the tournament for you guys again. It has been a lot of work for us and seeing all of you at the weigh in will make it all worth while. Thanks again for your support and see you on the sand next week.
