Finally got another chance to go fish with the legend Ziacatcher. We were off by 10 or so. Rabbit came along to.
Sunny skies and no wind was a excellent day on the water, Fished all the Holes in the back-yard, caught dozens of dinks, we ended up keeping 6 & Zia (as usual) caught the biggest one & the most.
Rabbit got 2 reds just under keeper size. Think I had one or 2 keeper specs, was tough fishing considering all the spots went went to.
Caught fish in most all locations cept the Boathole, dead sea over there.
Heres a few pics.
SMOKE ON THE WATER (sing it!) They were burning off brush on the King ranch. This is from a distance & lots of zoom on camera looks like water is on fire!
Can u believe Rabbit acually caught this on a plastic! He caught several small perch today on plastics. Also had a huge menhaden was close to a foot long.
Ready for the knife/

Id say 5ft water in guts off the bottom or lower half. casted at edge of color changes. Lure color didnt seem to matter. Bigger fish came later after 1pm or so. Lots of dinks in the mix.
