Tyler,
I have not seen any mention of this since you went down. But if anyboby thinks they can cast over 300 feet join in and find out. Check the SFCCI link or Nick's site for power casters.
I will be there with my fancy ruler

Kingsville Open & Texas Casting Championships
25 Mar 2006 - 26 Mar 2006
This event will be held in Kingsville, the same venue for the Worlds tourney last year. The cost for both days will be $15.00. Lunch will be served Saturday. Sunday will be BYOF. The club will also provide water.
It will be at Richard Kleberg park. Take the first right before you get to the jet display. I think things should start around 9am.
Spectators are free!

Just to let everyone know, we will be holding the casting championships this weekend in Kingsville. Depending on how many casters (if less than 20 casters) we will hold the 150 gram and the 125 gram both on Saturday and only cast one day. Thanks. Hope to see you guys there...Adios
