Just moved to Rockport last week. looking for fishing buddies in the area. I have been fishing in So. Cal. for the last 20 years. Don't know much about inshore or offshore fishing, here. I have plenty of equipment. All I need is a friend. Will share all expenses that are needed.

Lonely Fisherman, need to wet a line

welcome aboard. Fishing has been on the slow side lately but it will get better. Whats your method of fishing, wading, bank, kayaking, boat?
lots of good info on this site.

I look forward to meeting you. I live in Port Aransas and would love to share what I know. You found a great forum, very very family oriented and everyone is passionate about fishing. Send a p.m. Once again, welcome. Where in CA?

Nick

Welcome to the board.

When I'm able I fish from Rockport. I hope to be down more but seems like this honey do list keeps growing. PM me and I will let you know when I get down and we'll see if you are interested in a little line wetting. Only thing I can promise is a trip. Shocked

there is a good winter trout hole in the ICW just past Palm Harbor on your way to Conn Brown harbor. It is reachable by kayak or boat. Look for the big rocks on the left spoil bank and throw Gulp shrimp slow. On cold days they stack up on the rocks in the deep hole.
